The free app will showcase the new role and its new integration with Clever at ISTE 2018
(Seattle, WA) June 25, 2018 — Today, the award-winning parent communication app Bloomz took a major step towards becoming the all-in-one solution for schools’ and districts’ communication needs by announcing the addition of student user accounts. Starting in August, teachers can invite students to sign up for a free Bloomz account and receive communication from their teachers and school administrators through the app. Students will then have the experience that Bloomz has offered to parents and teachers in its rapidly growing user base in more than 25,000 schools.
With Bloomz, teachers and school administrators will be able to share important class-related content and learning resources with students. For example, teachers can share assignment updates, test reminders, and other class files with students through the app—at the same time as they send daily updates, photos, and videos to parents. Sharing will be streamlined for educators, as they will be able to share to both parents and/or students, to the whole school, or a specific classroom with one simple post.

As part of its promise to save time for teachers and students, Bloomz is also partnering with Clever to participate in its recently announced Library, a way for teachers to discover and sign up for instructional technology. As part of this program, teachers will be able to discover the communication app through the portal, then use their Clever credentials to sign up for a free account and import their classrooms and students with one click.
Bloomz continues to enhance and update its experience with the addition of Clever integration, making it easier for teachers to juggle the countless apps, and even connect Bloomz with their LMS or SIS to complement their tool set. With its focus on strengthening teacher-parent and now teacher-student communication, Bloomz continues on its path to building more connected and engaged school communities.
