RoboKind Selected as a 2018 Red Herring Top 100 Global Winner

A leading maker of educational, humanoid robots is honored as one of the most innovative technology companies in the world

(Dallas, TX) November 8, 2018RoboKind, the world leader in humanoid robotics, announced today that it has been selected as a winner for Red Picture1-9Herring's Top 100 Global, a prestigious list honoring the year’s most promising private technology ventures from around the world.

RoboKind is a Dallas-based company whose mission is to create cost-effective and inclusive education for all. Working with experts in both the autism community and school systems around the world, RoboKind has developed two robots, Milo and Jett, along with the accompanying robots4autism and robots4STEM curricula, to give children opportunities to realize their potential and pursue their passions for all things tech-related.

The winners of the Red Herring Award have been chosen from thousands of entrants, and judged by industry experts, insiders, and journalists on a wide variety of criteria, including financial performance, innovation, business strategy, and market penetration. Winners ran the gamut of verticals, from fintech and marketing to security, IoT, and many more.

“Watching Milo help students with autism speak for the first time or seeing Jett foster the next generation of confident, digitally-savvy children has been incredibly humbling and fulfilling,” said Richard Margolin, chief technology officer and founder of RoboKind. “We set out to change lives when we founded RoboKind, so to be named a winner in the Red Herring Awards is extremely rewarding. We hope that in the future we can inspire more children to learn using robotics and technology.”

Red Herring’s editors have been evaluating the world’s startups and tech companies for more than two decades. It gives them the ability to see through the industry’s hype, to pick firms that will continue on a trajectory to success.

“Choosing the companies with the strongest potential was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “After rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across the globe to the Top 100 Winners. We believe RoboKind embodies the vision, drive, and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. RoboKind should be proud of its accomplishment.”

Red Herring’s Top 100 Global list has become a mark of distinction for identifying promising companies and entrepreneurs. Red Herring editors were among the first to recognize that companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Skype, Salesforce.com, YouTube, and eBay would change the way we live and work.
