A book-signing event sponsored by myON and EXO U honored the ed tech innovator and author.

On Monday, June 27, the PR with Panache! Storytelling Suite at ISTE 2016 was buzzing during a book signing event for Carl Hooker, the Director of Innovation and Digital Learning at Eanes ISD (TX) and the founder of iPadpalooza.

We celebrated Hooker’s books Mobile Learning Mindset: The District Leader’s Guide to Implementation and Mobile Learning Mindset: The Principal’s Guide to Implementation. He signed copies for his supporters, colleagues, and members of the media. The books are part of the six-volume Mobile Learning Mindset series, which offers practical knowledge and strategies for successful implementation of K-12 BYOD programs and 1:1 initiatives.

The event was sponsored by PRP clients myON and EXO U, both well-known supporters of mobile learning and of Hooker’s thought leadership and innovation in education

Hooker, named the PR with Panache! 2016 Thought Leader of the Year andTech & Learning magazine’s 2014 Leader of the Year, is also an Apple Distinguished Educator. At the signing, he said that he hopes his Mobile Learning Mindset series gives some practical guidance to his colleagues who are navigating the momentous shift in the way they teach.
